Spiced Sweet Potatoes
- 2 lbs. sweet potatoes
- 2 tsp. The Spice Hunter Jamaican Jerk Global Blend
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- Peel the sweet potatoes and slice ½-inch thick. Boil in a pot until just cooked and drain immediately.
While potatoes are cooking, combine Jamaican Jerk, butter, brown sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer. Stir frequently until mixture becomes thick and syrupy.
Gently combine cooked potatoes and sauce. Serve and enjoy!
