Spiced Apple Sangria

- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
2 tsp. The Spice Hunter Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend
- 1 750 ml. bottle Chardonnay wine
- ¼ cup triple sec
- ½ cup brandy
- 1½ cups apple juice
- 3 cups diced apples and/or pears
For simple syrup:
To make the simple syrup, combine sugar, water, and pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat, strain, and set aside to cool to room temperature.
Once syrup is cooled, stir together with wine, triple sec, brandy, and juice in a large pitcher. Add fruit and chill well. Serve over ice with fruit and garnish with The Spice Hunter Cinnamon Sticks, if desired.
