Turkey Casserole

- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. The Spice Hunter Fine Black Pepper
- ½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Poultry Seasoning
- ¼ tsp. The Spice Hunter Rubbed Dalmatian Sage
- ½ tsp. The Spice Hunter French Thyme
- 2½ cups milk
- 1 1/3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 (12 oz.) package tri-color rotini pasta, cooked
- 1 lb. cooked turkey, diced
Directions
In a large saucepan sauté mushrooms and onions in butter over medium heat until tender. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually stir in milk until mixture thickens. Add 2/3 cup cheese and stir until cheese melts. Add pasta and turkey and combine. Spread into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 400°F for about 25 minutes.
