Ingredients
- 4 ⅔ cups almonds, whole, roasted
- 1 ½ cups oats, toasted
- ¼ cup almond flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- ¾ cup sunflower seeds, toasted
- 1 ½ cups dried currants
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- ½ cup almond butter

Directions
Line one 9’’ x 13’’ baking pans with parchment paper. With an electric mixer, blend first six ingredients on low until well-combined. In a small saucepot add the honey and sugar and bring to soft ball stage (240°-245°F), remove from heat and whisk in almond butter and Smoky Turmeric. Add honey and almond butter mixture to dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Working quickly, spread the mixture evenly into the parchment-lined baking pan. Use a second pan to firmly pack the mixture. Place cans or other heavy objects on top of the second pan to further press the mixture. Allow mixture to cool with weight on top until it reaches room temperature. Once cool, cut into 4 x 1.5 inch bars. Chef Note: For toasting oats, place oats on a cookie sheet and bake in a 350°F oven for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown
