Hot and Spicy Beef w/ vegetables

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. sherry or rice wine
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1½ tsp. peanut oil
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- ½ lb. beef or chicken in 1/8-¼ inch slices
- 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Crushed Red Chile Pepper
- 2 fresh ginger slices
- 2 celery stalks in ½ inch pieces
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 red or green bell pepper in ½ inch slices
- 1 head broccoli, separated into florets
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. sherry or rice wine
- ¾ cup beef or chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- ¼ tsp. sesame oil
- ¼ tsp. The Spice Hunter Crushed Red Chile Pepper
Finishing Sauce:
Directions
Combine first 4 ingredients, add meat. Marinate 20 minutes. Meanwhile, combine finishing sauce ingredients, chop vegetables. Place wok on high heat and add 1 Tbsp. peanut oil. When hot add crushed red chile pepper, ginger, garlic, stir-fry for 1 minute. Discard seasonings. Stir-fry meat for 2 minutes, remove. Add 1 Tbsp. oil and stir-fry broccoli 2 minutes. Add 1 Tbsp. water, cover for 2 minutes. Add meat and finishing sauce. Cook until thickened. Serve over steamed rice.
