Place grapefruit peel strips and Juniper berries in a 2-cup glass measuring cup, next add in the sugar. Muddle mixture with a muddler or wooden spoon until some liquid is released.
Add grapefruit juice and gin, stir until sugar dissolves. Remove and discard the grapefruit peel strips and Juniper berries. Stir in tonic water. Pour into 2 ice-filled glasses. Garnish with additional Juniper berries and grapefruit wedges
