2 Tbsp. The Spice Hunter Whole Jamaican Allspice
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. white rum
Toast allspice in a saute pan over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Add butter, sugar and cream. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add rum and continue stirring for 2 additional minutes. Strain out and discard allspice.
Serve sauce over pound cake, fruit or ice cream.
