Looking to put a global twist on the classic American cookout? Mexican Burgers bring south of the border flavor to a traditional backyard staple with a dash of The Spice Hunter Mexican Seasoning Blend. This blend incorporates onions, garlic, and spicy peppers – all commonly cultivated in Mexico – as well as cumin, cilantro, basil, and oregano for robust, distinctly Mexican flavor. While a shake of Mexican Seasoning Blend will boost flavor in salsas and fajitas, there’s no need to limit its use to traditional Mexican dishes. Instead of sprinkling the blend into ground beef for tacos, take classic, all-American burgers to the next level by adding a dash of Mexican Seasoning Blend to ground beef or turkey. The right toppings will highlight the burgers’ uniquely Mexican flavors. We recommend sticking with classics like soft, fluffy burger buns, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy lettuce and incorporating avocados and spicy pepper jack cheese to complement the Mexican burgers. For more seasoned palates, a dollop of fiery salsa, spicy sliced jalapeños, or a squeeze of lime juice on top of the finished burger can take the Mexican flavors in this recipe a step further. These Mexican burgers are just as simple to make as classic burgers, and can be grilled or pan-fried. For a dynamic presentation that’s great for large groups, set up a burger bar so guests can dress their Mexican burgers according to personal preference. Buen provecho!
