Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- ½ tsp. salt
-
½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Granulated Garlic
-
1 tsp. The Spice Hunter Thyme
-
½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Cinnamon
-
1/8 tsp. The Spice Hunter Coarse Black Pepper
- 4 pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 cup water
Directions
Combine flour, salt, garlic, thyme, cinnamon and pepper together in a small dish. Sprinkle half the flour mixture on both sides of each pork chop. Set the remaining flour aside. Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add pork chops and cook, turning occasionally, until well browned on both sides. Remove chops from pan and set aside. Add onion to pan and cook, stirring frequently until slightly softened and lightly browned. Add a tablespoon of water and reduce heat if the onions are browning too much before they are softened. Gently mix peaches into pan, sprinkle with brown sugar and cook another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Combine reserved flour mixture with water. Add to pan, stirring to combine, then return chops to pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until chops are cooked through.
