Cardamom Pound Cake with Orange Glaze

- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 6 eggs
2 tsp. The Spice Hunter Pure Vanilla Extract
1½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Guatemalan Cardamom
- 8 oz. whipping cream
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
Cream butter and sugar with mixer. Add remaining ingredients and cream together well. Pour into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 275°F for one hour. Increase heat to 350°F for 15-20 minutes more. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan. Pierce with fork and add glaze while still warm.
Mix together orange juice and sugar. Boil gently until a light syrup forms (about 10 min). Cool slightly and spoon onto pound cake.
