Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard

½ tsp. The Spice Hunter California Dill Weed
- 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped

1 ½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Caraway Seeds
- pinch of salt
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- ½ of a 17 ¼ oz. pkg. frozen puff pastry (1 sheet thawed)
Directions
Combine egg, water and mustard; set aside. In separate bowl, stir together cheese, onion, dill, caraway seeds, garlic and salt. Unfold pastry sheet. Brush generously with egg mixture. Sprinkle cheese mixture lengthwise over half of a rectangle. Fold plain half over cheese, lining up edges and pressing to seal. Brush top of pastry with egg mixture. Cut pastry crosswise into ½ inch wide strips. Twist each strip several times and place 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet, pressing ends down. Bake in 350°F oven for 18-20 min. or until light brown. Serve warm.
