Bay Leaf Mashed Potatoes
- 3 lbs. potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 The Spice Hunter Whole Mediterranean Bay Leaves
- salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup milk
- ⅓ cup butter
- Place potatoes and bay leaves in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low and simmer until potatoes are tender.
Drain the potatoes and return to the pot. Remove bay leaves, mash potatoes and add remaining ingredients. Continue to mash until desired consistency, serve and enjoy.
