Whole Grain Homemade Mustard

Ingredients
- ¼ cup Sauer's Whole Mustard Seed
- ¼ cup white wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- ¼ cup Sauer's Ground Mustard
- ¼ tsp. Sauer's Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp. Sauer's Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Preparation
1. Combine whole mustard seed and vinegar in a small glass jar or cup, cover with plastic wrap and set aside overnight or at least 8 hours.
2. In a microwave-safe glass dish, combine soaked seeds (and any remaining liquid) and the rest of the ingredients. Microwave for 1 minute.
3. Stir and let rest until the mustard has cooled to room temperature. Place mustard in a glass or plastic container with a lid and refrigerate.
4. Homemade mustard will be very spicy when it is fresh. Let sit for 1-2 weeks for a milder flavor.
