Turkey Chili

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp. Sauer's Chili Powder, plus more to taste
- 2 tsp. Sauer's Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Sauer's Ground Cumin
- 1 medium white or yellow onion, diced
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (29 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15.5 oz.) can pinto or kidney beans, not drained
- Salt, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
Preparation
1. Sauté turkey and onion in oil over medium-high heat until turkey is no longer pink, about 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Sprinkle turkey mixture with salt and then add chili powder, garlic and cumin. Stir well.
3. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes and beans and stir well.
4. Bring to a boil and cook on medium for 15-20 minutes until thick. Season to taste with sugar and additional salt and chili powder as needed before serving.
