Spicy Southern Fried Chicken
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. oil, divided
- 4 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed (1 lb.)
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp. Sauer's Poultry Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Sauer's Paprika
- ¼ tsp. salt or to taste
- ¼ tsp. Sauer's Ground Black Pepper
- ¼ tsp. Sauer's Ground Cayenne Pepper
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Brush an aluminum foil-lined 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with 1 tablespoon oil. Brush both sides of chicken breasts with remaining oil.
3. To prepare seasoned flour, combine remaining ingredients in a shallow bowl. Dredge chicken breast halves in seasoned flour, coating each well.
4. Arrange in the baking pan. Bake in a pre-heated hot oven (425°F) for 18-20 minutes, turning chicken breasts halfway through cooking time.
