Slow Cooker Stuffing
Ingredients
- 12 cups dry bread cubes
- 2 large onions, diced
- 2 cups celery, diced
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 4 cups broth (vegetable or chicken), plus more as needed
- 2 tsp. Sauer's Poultry Seasoning
- 1½ tsp. salt, or to taste
- ½ tsp. Sauer's Ground Black Pepper, or to taste
Preparation
1. Grease inside of slow cooker.
2. Combine all ingredients, except broth, in a large bowl.
3. Pour in broth a cup at a time until the bread cubes are moistened. Place mixture in slow cooker.
4. Cover and cook on high for 30-45 minutes, then turn to low and continue cooking for about 4 hours, give or take depending on your model of slow cooker. Add broth as desired throughout cooking if stuffing appears too dry.
