Microwave Chocolate Mint Fondue
Ingredients for Fondue
- 1 cup (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- ¼ cup butter or margarine, at room temperature and cut into small pieces
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tsp. Sauer's Pure Mint or Sauer's Peppermint Extract
Ingredients for Dippers
- Pound cake squares
- Fresh peeled pineapple cubes or spears
- Fresh strawberries
- Peeled banana chunks
- Ice cream of choice (optional)
Preparation
1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a 4-cup glass measure.
2. Cover loosely and microwave on medium (50% power) 5-7 minutes or until mixture is thick and smooth, stirring at 1 minute increments.
3. Stir in extract.
4. Serve with assorted dippers or use as a sauce for ice cream.
