Mexicali Dip

Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, at room temperature
- ½ cup dairy sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. Sauer's Taco Seasoning Mix
- ½ cup medium-spiced picante salsa
- ¼ cup sliced green onions (include some green tops)
- ¼ cup sliced pitted black olives
- ½ cup (2 oz.) shredded Monterey jack cheese
- Crisp tortilla chips or vegetables
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning mix beating well.
3. Spread over the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish. Sprinkle evenly with salsa, green onions, and olives.
4. Bake for 10 minutes. Top with cheese; bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
5. Serve with chips or raw vegetables as dippers.
Note: Mexicali Dip may be prepared in advance and baked just before serving time.
