Dyed Easter Eggs
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- ½ cup boiling water
- Sauer's Food Colors and Egg Dye Kit
- White-shelled hard-boiled eggs
Preparation
Add 1 tsp. of vinegar to ½ cup boiling water. Drop food color into mixture as specified below to obtain desired shade. Immerse eggs in mixture and remove when brightly colored.
| Orange | 5 parts yellow + 1 part red |
| Aqua | 5 parts blue + 1 part green |
| Purple | 4 parts red + 1 part blue |
| Brown | 4 parts yellow + 3 parts red + 2 parts green |
