Buttery Cookies

Prep Time: 20 minutes plus 20 minutes freezing
Cook Time: 15 minutes



1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Cream butter, egg yolks, vanilla and butter flavor together in a large bowl. Add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.

3. Slowly add salt and flour and continue beating until fully incorporated.

4. Roll dough into a log, wrap in plastic wrap and place in freezer for 10-20 minutes, or until firm.

5. Once dough is firm, slice into ½ inch slices and place on cookie sheet.

6. Bake for 15 minutes or until light golden brown on edges.

Let cool, then frost if desired.
