Barley Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb. soup meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 qt. cold water
- 1 cup barley
- 1 tsp. salt
- Ā½ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tsp. Sauer's Dried Parsley
- 1 Sauer's Bay Leaf
Preparation
1. Place meat in cold water and slowly heat.
2. Add all ingredients except barley.
3. Cook 2 hours. Add barley and cook 30 minutesĀ longer.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
