Art's Smoky Salsa
Cook Time: 15 minutes plus 4-6 hours chilling
Ingredients
- 12 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 2 jalapeño peppers, 1 with seeds and 1 without seeds, minced
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ medium red onion, diced fine
- 2 Tbsp. fresh-squeezed lime juice
- ¼ tsp. chipotle powder
- ¼ tsp. Sauer's Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. sugar
- ⅛ tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped fine
Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients - except cilantro - in a medium bowl.
2. Cover and chill for 4-6 hours.
3. Just before serving, add the chopped cilantro. Toss to combine.
